We are delighted to let you know that former student Melissa Mitchell has been awarded a 1st Class Degree from Edge Hill University. Alongside this magnificent achievement, Melissa has also been given the Hazel Richardson Study Prize Award for achieving the joint highest overall percentage marks in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Melissa told us:
“I decided on Edge Hill University to study PE and School Sport as I loved the town and it was a place I knew I could settle. My initial intention was to go on to becoming a sports teacher, however having gained experience within research I am now working towards becoming a researcher and lecturer hopefully within Edge Hill. I hope to continue my education in October completing a masters in research in physical activity and mental health before applying for a PhD in a similar area.”
well done Melissa and we all wish you success in the future.
