Important Student Information

Dear Students

We hope you are all well, and that you’re managing to keep up with your vital studies. Many of you have asked about the new arrangements for exams and grades this Summer, so we have attached the latest guidance from the DfE. You will note that your teachers will be expected to submit their professional judgement on the grade you would have been most likely to get. Whilst you will, of course, want to provide as much evidence of quality work to support your teacher’s judgement as possible, their submissions are confidential and they are not allowed to enter into any conversation with you about the grades recommended.

Some students have asked if the college will re-open after the Easter break. Whilst we cannot open as normal, we will offer a drop in session to address any issues regarding laptops, portfolios etc from 10am-12noon each Monday. Mr Newnes and I will be there to help you as much as possible if you have any issues. Should the need arise, we will offer further drop in sessions later in the week, but you must let us know if you need help.

In the meantime, stay safe and stay home!

Take great care.

Brendan Conboy
